The Charlotte Family Church celebrated the Special Grace Ceremony on Sunday, September 11. Twenty-seven of our families and individuals attended the ceremony and were bestowed 16 Holy Item sets.
We were honored to have our elder brother, Dr. G.E. Bessell, offer the invocation, and his son, Chung Hee, conclude the ceremony with the most earth-shattering shouts of Eog Mansei.
Pastor Klaus Schick reminded everybody that the most important part is the day after the ceremony, to be true to our resolutions and to increase our efforts to grow and become Tribal Messiahs that will fulfill True Parents’ Vision for 2020. We can do it!

As the nation remembers the fallen heroes of 9/11, the Family Church of New York City held the Special Grace Ceremony at 4 West 43rd Street in Manhattan on September 11, 2016. The program began with a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims of the terrorist attacks of 2001. The program then proceeded with the singing of the Cheon Il Guk Anthem. Also in attendance were Pastor Tanya and Bishop Edwards, the officiators; Rev. Edner Pierre-Louis, the district pastor of New York; and Rev. Bruce Grodner. Before the end of the ceremony, Rev. Edner Pierre-Louis was invited to speak about the upcoming anniversary of the Washington Monument Rally. The program ended with three cheers of Eog Mansei.

In Tampa, Florida, eight families and 20 individuals received the Special Grace and Cheon Il Guk Holy Items from True Parents. Participants were guided by the district pastor, Rev. Chidester. Due to the recent ascension of our local pastor, Rev. Ostrenko, Rev. Chidester came to Tampa to support our community. We are so grateful!
When I was leading the Holy Songs and singing together with brothers and sisters, I felt True Parents’ grace, love, and forgiveness. I was so moved and felt repentance and deep appreciation for their great love. No matter what, True Parents keep loving and forgiving us with true love. We all need to inherit it and grow to become like True Parents and fulfill our responsibility to bring joy and happiness to our Heavenly Parent and True Parents!
