Myron Fuellas transitioned to the spirit world peacefully on Friday, November 27, 2015 at his home in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. He was 54 years old.
Myron was born in Kohala, Hawaii (on the northern tip of the Big Island of Hawaii) on January 25, 1961. He was the eldest in his family with two younger sisters. He attended elementary school in Kohala and graduated Kohala High school in 1979. Myron met Julie Jolin in 1980 on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu, who introduced him to the Divine Principle. As Julie says, “Myron was inspired by Divine Principle very quickly. We didn’t have to convince him so much. It was natural for him to move in with us.” After joining the church in Honolulu, Myron worked for True World Foods in Los Angeles and also in Honolulu. Recently, Myron was a member of the Kona Family Church for the last 12 years. Myron also worked in Korea as an International Missionary for a short time in the city of Daegu.
He is survived by his father, John Fuellas, and sisters, Myrna Amarino and Janis Kanetani. Also, he is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
The Seonghwa/Memorial Ceremony will be held at the Kona Family Church/ Hawaiian Queen Coffee Garden on Saturday, December 19 at 11:30am. Myron was a wonderfully sincere and serving brother who I worked with in LA and have fond memories of him helping our young family move into our first apartment.I always felt he was an innocent and gentle soul that sometimes struggled during the hectic times of our early movement. God Bless you Myron my dear brother.
