John Foss was born in Fargo, North Dakota the day after Christmas in 1951 to Magnus O. and Marjorie L. Foss Jr. He was the third child of five.
John met the Unification Movement at the Univesity of Minnesota when True Father was on a speaking tour in 1974. After joining the Church, he worked at Vernon Ducket Architect Office and received the Marriage Blessed at Madison Square Garden in 1082. He returned to his hometown in Fargo, ND in 1992. He commuted to NYC to work on the New Yorker Hotel project for 30 years.
John loved to play guitar with friends.
He had a sudden heart attack in 2013, leaving his wife Keiko, son Rygo, daughter Roshan, and son-in-Law Korbin Anglin.
