Our beloved second-generation brother, Anthony Lehrer, of the New Hope Family Church community, passed to the spiritual world on Tuesday, April 4. Anthony had suffered all his life from a genetic disorder, which rendered him severely handicapped. However, his physical limitations also secured him a completely pure and innocent heart.
Although his life-expectancy was limited, his sudden cardiac arrest was unexpected for this parents, P.J. and Moe Lehrer.
Let us come together to support Anthony's family, and pray for his victorious transition to a glorious new life in the spiritual world, knowing that our True Father and many saints are waiting for him with open hearts and arms.

Anthony “Tony” Tadaichi Lehrer was born on November 11, 2000, as the first child of PJ and Moe Lehrer, nee Ito. Throughout his life, Tony faced prominent physical challenges due to his genetic disorder, Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome (WHS). He developed very slowly and was unable to talk or walk unassisted. He could not feed himself and was tube fed. It was unclear how much he understood what was said to him or how much he understood about what was going on in the world around him.
Nevertheless, despite his limitations, it is remarkable what he could do. He was able to ride a horse by himself. He laughed and he smiled. It was obvious by his countenance and facial expressions when he was enjoying himself. He loved listening to various kinds of music. We always included him in many types of activities — we brought him with us rafting down the Patapsco river almost every year. We would annually go to Rocky Gap State Park and also visit Deep Creek Lake. We would bring him out on the lakes in a canoe or a raft — it was always evident during these activities that he was enjoying himself very much.
Everyone in his life treated him as though he was a regular guy. One could tell that he was appreciative of the love he received from those around him. Despite the circumstances of his physical challenges, he is fortunate, because he was unable to absorb any kind of negativity and remained extremely mentally and spiritually innocent and pure.
Although he missed out on the many joys that a boy or a man might experience in a typical life, he begins his next phase of life without any regret or resentment an average person may have. As his parents, we are extremely grateful that God entrusted us with the care of Tony. And after he left his physical body on April 4, 2017, we send him off to complete his journey in life. We are truly grateful to all who Tony met.

Seonghwa Ceremony
Anthony Lehrer’s Seonghwa Ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 9, at 2:30 pm, at the New Hope Family at Melford (4801 Tesla Dr., Suite M, Bowie, MD 20715).
The viewing is taking place on Saturday, April 8, at the Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Rd, Beltsville, MD 20705, between 4:30 and 8 pm.
The Wonjeon ceremony will take place on Monday, April 10, at 10:00 AM, at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery at 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722.

Such a sweet tribute to Tony by his loving parents. God bless him on his journey in the spirit world. I remember seeing a very young Tony with his devoted Mom and Dad when Montgomery County Family members met at the storefront church on Blueridge Ave. in Wheaton in the early to mid 2000s.

I heard from Dr Pastor Acolatse ( THE CAPITAL HILL Washington DC church ) during the conference prayer about
Antony transition, and I read also about his life. God is LOVE. The faith is a world of LOVE. With LOVE I pray for
