On Saturday, January 11 at Morning Garden in Gloucester, MA, 13 participants from across the United States–and even across the globe–gathered to attend the Level 3 Blessing Workshop. We had participants from New York, New Jersey, Missouri, Massachusetts and London, UK.
Although two participants came alone without their significant other, we made it possible to hold an all-day long zoom call so that their matching partner was able to Zoom into the workshop and participate all the way from Brazil! We also had another couple join us for a few sessions from California. It was truly a wonderful experience to make this workshop available to so many different parts of the country and the world.
The main presenter for the weekend, Roger Wetherall and his wife Daniela (who was the MC) made a dynamic duo. The participants enjoyed watching the dynamics between them in between presentations as a fun-loving couple who gave phenomenal wisdom and advice for the younger couples. Mika Deshotel and Catherine Kace were also presenters for the weekend covering topics such as “Relating and Creating” as well as “Handling Differences”-topics to provide tools for a successful marriage which was received well by the workshop participants.
Couple testimonies from Sebastian and Jenniffer Jean and Abe and Mika Deshotel were a crowd favorite paired with a Q and A session during the panel interviews.
The couples were not only able to connect to each other, but also enjoyed meeting other young couples. The beautiful venue of Morning Garden paired with its unbeatable oceanic views provided workshop participants the chance to enjoy nature and the amazing warm weather we were blessed to have for the weekend.
A few quotes from the participants:
“Wonderful, thank you! I really appreciated the chance to discuss and talk about all these topics with my match and with other blessed couples. Attending this workshop gave me the opportunity to pause and reflect on the state of my relationship with my match and to think more clearly about where we’d like to be/what we want our relationship to look like.”
“I loved how the couples who have gone through the journey were so open in experiencing their growth process. This is definitely a must have workshop for all couples to give a solid foundation.”
“I liked all the content that was presented. Each topic was presented in a way that gave us realistic experiences and situations that could happen in a marriage and ways to overcome conflict and tools to overcome areas where a couple could get stuck…I feel like I have a few tools to take away from this workshop that I could start to implement in my relationship with my partner.”
“Good!! I really love how they created a place where serious topics can and will be discussed. Informational lectures are nice, but the energy and spirit of talking about love and marriage is the reason why these workshops are great!”
Thank you to the staff: Roger and Daniela Wetherall, Che Consoro, Christina Lange and Mika Deshotel and Catherine Kace and our amazing chef Kyra Moyer for all the delicious meals.
Most of all, thank you to the participants for receiving us and the content that was prepared and shared for each of you. We wish you all the best and God bless you in your future.
