UPDATE: Here is an update from Itsuko’s husband, Rick Bodzewski.
Friends and Family,
Thank you so much for your love and support these last couple months. Itsuko passed away late Monday night (12/9). We are grateful that her passing was peaceful and that she was surrounded by family.
Itsuko was so very precious to us and to you as well. She was always smiling, positive, helpful and loving. We appreciate all your thoughts and prayers during this time.

To Our Beloved Church Family,
It deeply saddens our hearts to inform all of you that Itsuko has been diagnosed with a degenerative brain disorder called Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD). CJD is a terminal illness and Itsuko has been losing mental and physical function over the last couple of months. Itsuko and Rick were part of the 2075 Blessing at MSG. The nurses have now told us that they expect she will pass in the next 4-7 days, but it is very difficult to give an accurate date. Itsuko has been at home for hospice for about 2 weeks now after a month at the University of Washington Medical Center. She will spend her remaining time surrounded by her loving family and friends.
We are asking for prayer support to make Itsuko’s time left comfortable and her ascension swift, as well as comfort and strength for the family.
