Los Angeles Holds Cosmic Blessing Ceremony

On a still hot and sunny day in September in Southern California, five beautiful couples attended the Hyojeong Cosmic Blessing Ceremony at the Los Angeles Family Church. Peter and Klara Chen, Representatives of Blessing Family and Ministry-Los Angeles, conducted the Holy Wine Ceremony in the early afternoon for the couples to be Blessed. The ceremony was attended by the couples with their parents observing.

Thirty minutes prior to the live streaming of the Seonghwa Festival and Cosmic Blessing in Korea, previously Blessed couples entered into the chapel, which was beautifully decorated by the work of volunteers three days before the ceremony. When the previously Blessed couples entered in Holy Robes and pink vests, Pastor George Kazakos, who served as emcee, announced the entrance of the local officiators: Peter and Klara Chen, BFM Representatives.  The five couples of the Blessing Ceremony then entered to the delight of everyone in attendance.

They were warmly welcomed with applause by an audience nearing 100 people. All were watching the live broadcast of Seonghwa Festival with a yearning heart for True Father. As the stream began to show the Cosmic Blessing Ceremony in Korea, all five couples were escorted to step up onto the stage, conducting the ceremony in Los Angeles concurrently with the ceremony in Korea. True Mother conducted the Holy Water Ceremony and distributed rings, so the five couples followed at the same time as the officiators distributed their rings to them.

The couples’ faces were gleaming with joy as they declared their vows for their new spouses and for God.  After the ceremony, a celebration dinner was served in the dining hall. All families and congratulating guests had wonderful time with the newly Blessed couples. ​
