Unificationists in Nebraska are working toward their state goal of sharing the Marriage Blessing with 430 couples by building a spiritual foundation and momentum.
After Dennis and Mayuri Hoffman came to Nebraska and demonstrated how to conduct a Blessing Ceremony, two families spent three hours, along with the Hoffman couple, conducting Holy Wine and Blessing Ceremonies for 54 couples.
They prepared a Blessing Ceremony Kit to use, which included a folder of marriage commitment vows, a sign-up form to receive couples’ contact information, and Holy Wine.
“Without some form of outreach, no one will ever be able to receive the full blessing,” said one of the couples working with the Hoffmans. “We know we have more work to do with follow-up and education. We feel we need more spiritual power like Dennis and Mayuri had.”
Nebraska set their state goal of 430 couples to receive the Marriage Blessing to build momentum and move 430 families to receive Blessing education and attend an official Marriage Blessing Ceremony.
The Omaha Family Church recently had one more active family join the team. They now have three active families holding Blessing Ceremonies every week.
