Contributed by the Clifton Family Church
On December 11, 2016, the Clifton Martial Art Tong-Il Moo-Do Clifton NJ Chapter officiated their first family Marriage Blessing of six couples. This was with the support of the Clifton Family Church. Pastor Jacob Manoj gave the opening remarks, CIG IW Rev. Richard Buessing gave the congratulatory message, then Pennsylvania Pastor Rev. Shota Iwaski closed the ceremony. With the event was supported by the help of the Tribal Messiahship Trinity of Nathaniel Nitro, Bob Mansur and Demian Dunkley, and the support of the Filipino Community. Marivic Ibok managed catering and Elena Bahian managed decoration and emceeing.
The Marriage Blessing was officiated by Master Ryan Abenir, who was recently inspired by the direction of Grand Master Jeun Ho Seuk to reach out the community and give the Marriage Blessing in support of True Mother’s Vision 2020. Grand Master Jeun Ho Seuk teaches the use of self-defense skills and internal value by becoming a healthy individual and responsible parent, and by serving the community.
Through the continuous work of the Clifton Martial Arts within the community, teaching the kids, and sponsoring summer camps for the families, after four years of investment the Clifton Family Church is determined to give the Marriage Blessing to the parents of each of our students. This it takes time, effort, and continuous education to share the Marriage Blessing with the families.
