Following is a testimony by Pastor Shota Iwasaki.

James Coleman was born in Liberia on January 15th, 1960 to Thomas Coleman and Mary Coleman. James joined the Unification Church in 1983, then became a member of the Liberian Family Church fundraising team and dedicated to support church finance. He then felt a calling for giving Divine Principle lectures. James had been the main lecturer at his local church in Liberia and helped develop the ministry greatly. Harris Mulbah, who is currently living in Philadelphia, is one of many Unificationists who had received James’s Divine Principle lecture education.

James received the Holy Marriage Blessing in Korea at the 3000-couple Marriage Blessing. Sadly his Marriage Blessing did not work one year later; however James felt God’s calling to travel to America for evangelism and arrived in Mississippi in 1998. Soon after he arrived, he found passion his in the American Clergy leadership Conference (ACLC) activities and visited churches throughout the state with local Liberian brothers. He also gave many Divine Principle presentations to clergy. He then moved to the Atlanta Family Church in 2000 and started giving the lectures to young Unificationists as well as new guests. By Harris Mulbah’s invitation, he then moved to Philadelphia and settled in the local Liberian community in 2012. James has been enjoying coming to the Philadelphia Family Church since. James’s last visit to Sunday service was on Easter day and on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, he suddenly had a stroke, became unconscious and was taken to the Presbyterian Hospital in West Philadelphia. James remained unconscious until he ascended into the Spirit World on April 19, True Parents’ Day.

James moved to Philadelphia two years ago and attended local services, but has no immediate family in the area. The local community wants to do their best to prepare a memorable and respectful service to honor our dear brother. Due to his unexpected passing, those close to him are seeking support of $100-$200 or more in donations. These larger amounts will be able to fully cover the costs of the service, but any donation is greatly appreciated.
