Mrs. Boon Jo Kim joined the Unification Movement on February 27, 1955. In 1963, she had accomplished a great achievement by participating in a three-year witnessing period. Because of her achievement, she received a special hand-written award from True Father. She had walked and lived a life of absolute faith and absolute obedience.
In 1983, after moving to the United States, she led an exemplary life of faith with sincere devotion and prayer in the Los Angeles KEA church. She accomplished the goal of Blessing 160 families and participated in social activities and services.
In 2006, she received an award as an owner of Cheon Il Guk.
In 2013, she received the Cheon Il Guk Foundation Day special award.
She received the Marriage Blessing with elder Mr. Ki Sung Son (an early member of the Daegu Church in Korea) and has two sons, three daughters, 17 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Korean elder Mrs. Boon Jo Kim ascended to heaven at midnight on December 4, 2018.
