Following is a testimony by Marcella's daughter.
Marcella Quiniones Perez Nanod was born in November 9, 1928. She ascended on February 15, 2018 after collapsing due to a heart condition while on a trip with her daughters, Sharon, Sandy, and Donna.
Marcella loved True Parents and when her daughters Debbie and Sharon joined the Unification Movement in 1974, she was very supportive. They even had the opportunity to meet True Parents at the airport in the 70’s when they would often stop by in Hawaii on their way to Korea. Bruce Brown, Carmela Acohido, and Ken Owens were especially close to Marcella.
Marcella attended the Yankee Stadium event in 1976 with her daughters, Debbie, Sharon, Donna, and Sandy. In 2000, she and her daughter received the Marriage Blessing in Korea.
She loved attending Sunday Service when she was able to walk. Brothers and sisters in the community took very good care of her.
