Our beloved and dear brother, Adrian House, from the Rhode Island Family Church ascended to the spirit world in the evening of Tuesday, August 2, after a long illness. He met our True Parents 40 years ago, and has been a devoted son ever since. He is known and remembered for his warm and caring nature and wonderful singing voice. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his five children: Bettina, Tiffany, Melanie, Regina and Adrian Jr., and his son in law James.
Let us join together in support of Adrian's family during this important and special time and offer our prayers for his victorious transition to a glorious new life in the spiritual world.
Following is a biography from his family and information for the Seonghwa ceremony.
Sincerely,

Dr. Michael Balcomb
President
Adrian was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, where he joined the church in 1976 at the age of 19.
He participated in MFT and worked in various organizations affiliated with the church. He especially enjoyed working at the Paragon House publishing company and the International Relief Friendship Foundation (IRFF). The time he spend in Guyana representing IRFF always had a very special place in his heart.
Later on he became a city leader in Tuscaloosa, AL and in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was also very engaged politically, becoming the chairman of the largest ward of the Republican Party.
He received the Marriage Blessing on October 14, 1982 in Seoul, Korea as part of the 8000 Couples Blessing. He shared 33 years on this earth with his wife Barbara, and was blessed with five wonderful children: Bettina, who is blessed to James (the most amazing son in law) Tiffany, Melanie, Regina, and Adrian Jr.
Adrian will be remembered for his warm, outgoing and embracing nature and his beautiful singing voice.
Most essentially though we will always cherish his unwavering faith and his immense love for God and his beloved True Parents.

I had my first experience selling flowers with him.
I am from Pittsburgh and Adrian helped me in witnessing to my Parents, it was partly due to his kindness they were able to attend the RFK Blessing in 1997. He brought my sister and mother from Pittsburgh to Washington DC for a WFWP meeting in 1996 as my wife went from New York and I went from Boston, it was because of his kindness my wife, mother, sister and myself were able to meet at that WFWP meeting. The kindness he expressed to my family will never be forgotten. Adrian House thank-you again for your kindness, I and my family are deeply grateful to have known such a kind son of Heaven.

Dearest Barbara and family: This is about your husband (;father) but your mother as well–who is a “shining beacon of love” left on earth, this I know. She has much love and strength. From the first time I saw her what jumped out of my heart was the description “beautiful.” It is the same today. When I think of Adrian, your husband and father, I am reminded of Jesus’ beautiful sermon on the mount about “meekness, mercy, gentleness, seeking righteousness and being a peacemaker.” Adrian embodied all these things and if I could sum of his life in one word, it would have to be “loving.” In 1984, your father and I both worked for the International Cultural Foundation (ICF) in Manhattan, NY. He was so kind and supportive to everyone and very meticulous in his job. He was very proud of his wife of two years–Barbara–showing everyone her picture. Thank you for sharing your message and photo. (I just found out today.) May Heavenly Parent continue to protect and bless you always and may you return the same to Him…. Peace and Love.

I hired and worked with Adrian at Paragon House. He was such an enthusiastic worker and more than that always a big smile and a kind word for everyone. He loved his family and was very proud of each one, as well as his wife. I will miss him as will his family and many friends. He will be missed by many, many people.

Adrian was my brother. I had the honor of working with him on MFT in the great State of Mich. We went through some growing pains together. We graduated from MFT together also in 1982. I remember praying on the beach together. Afterwords he departed for the Blessing in Korea. I am sorry to hear of his passing. He will always hold a very special place in my heart. My prayers and blessings on all.

Dear Barbara,
Mark and I send you and your children our love and prayers. We really enjoyed the time we spent living together in Pittsburgh. At that time only Bettina had been born. Since we moved to New Zealand we haven’t had a chance to see your whole family, only in photos, but we could see that it’s a beautiful family filled with love. May Heaven continue to give you strength and comfort your heart. Love and blessings, Mark and Ruth (Cleaver)

Adrian and I butted heads when we both worked for the Phila Church about the time he was starting family. I was an arrogant SOB and Adrian, being a no BS guy laid it on the line with me that I needed to get my act together (censored version). True Love conquers all and I learnt a valuable life lesson. You could not help but love the guy. Adrian………..our time spent working together was brief and I regret that our paths rarely crossed. l look forward to giving you a big hug in spirit world.

Bless you brother Adrian. I never worked closely with you, but the small moments we spent in conversation over the years I will treasure. The day of your daughter Betina’s engagement was so special as you spoke such kind words about her. Like a warrior, you dealt with challenges. I pray for your transition and the peace of your family.

Hi Adrian,
Thank you for your work in Il Hwa Ginseng. I remember Daniel Vianele used to call you “Mr. Madison Avenue.” It was because you always dressed nicer than others and were professional.
